Moon Cat Cafe is extremely excited to participate again in Fourth Friday (hosted by the Fourth Street Business Association) in Long Beach! The celebration to revitalize the business district is held on the last Friday of every month, and is free to the public. Come on out and enjoy live music, extended business hours, art shows, and more!
We’re thrilled to share that incredible local artist, Stephanie Han, will be exhibiting her paintings in her first show (“Faces of Hope”) at Fourth Friday. Every painting created is of a real adoptable cat or dog who was rescued from the meat trade.
“Faces of Hope” not only raises awareness of the realities of meat trade, but also raises funds for two non-profit rescues who are on the front lines in China and Korea rescuing dogs and cats from the meat trade industry: Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation and Save Korean Dogs.
Moon Cat Cafe will be partnering with the amazing local non-profit cat rescue Zoey's Place Rescue to feature adoptable cats on board the mobile cat cafe, where you can socialize with them (and perhaps even bring one home forever!) while enjoying a cup of gourmet, fresh-brewed coffee and a delicious pastry.
10% of Moon Cat Cafe’s proceeds goes directly to supporting Zoey's Place Rescue and their incredible work of fostering and providing urgent medical care to cats in need.
Very limited street parking. (Highly recommend ride-share or biking.)
